The Giant Ferris Wheel at Don-Don-Donki is Osaka's New Symbol

The other day, I had a sharp pain in my lower right tooth. When I went to the dentist, the diagnosis was pulpitis.

Today, after finishing the treatment and with the pain gone, I took a stroll around Osaka.

Switching from pain to no pain feels amazing. I’m so happy. Not feeling pain is what being healthy is all about, after all.

The streets of Osaka have become much prettier compared to the past. Along the Dotonbori river, the huge Ferris wheel at Don-Don-Donki stands tall.

The river used to be dirtier, and there wasn’t a Ferris wheel like this back in the day.

After doing some research, I found out that this Don-Don-Donki Ferris wheel was completed in 2005, but it actually started operating in 2018. I wonder what caused that time lag.

Having spent my sensitive years in Osaka, seeing the scenery of the downtown area calms my heart and fills me with nostalgia.

I think this kind of back alley view is unique to Osaka.

It was a walk that gave me a bit of a nostalgic feeling.
